North Bethesda, MD –December 19, 2012 – LibLime, a division of PTFS, announces that Western Nebraska Community College (WNCC), a member of the Pioneer Library Consortium, has successfully migrated to and gone live on LibLime Koha 4.14.
After joining the Pioneer Consortium and LibLime Koha in May 2012, Western Nebraska Community College staff worked with LibLime project management staff on data migration from its legacy Follett Destiny ILS, system configuration, and training.
LibLime Koha 4.14 utilizes the Lucene Solr search engine for faster indexing of batch imports in cataloging, improved facet searching in the OPAC, and better algorithms for controlling relevancy ranking of search results. LibLime Koha 4.14 also includes enhancement to how expired and cancelled holds are managed. The Reports Page has also been updated to allow better access to pre-defined SQL queries.
