Equinox Software Makes First SLA Conference Appearance in Chicago.

Business Insights: Essentials will replace Gale’s long-standing Business and Company Resource Center database.
Brill ends parallel run for new content platforms
Leiden / Boston – 11 July 2012
In December 2011, Brill launched two new platforms: referenceworks.brillonline.com and bibliographies.brillonline.com. In the meantime, Brill decided to end the parallel running period. This means that the old platform, brillonline.nl, is no longer in use, and Brill’s reference works and bibliographies are available only on the new platforms.

MLNC staff members officially became members of Amigos’ staff July 1, 2012, when that organization’s operations were formally merged into Amigos. They will work from Amigos’ St. Louis office.
LAC Group Hires Veteran Information Management Industry Leader
New York, NY— LAC Group is pleased to report that legal information industry expert, law librarian and knowledge manager, Nina Platt has joined the firm’s New York office to serve as Senior Director of Legal Market Services. In her new position, Platt will work closely with other key LAC Group divisions, including Chase Cost Management (CCM), in supporting customized solutions for libraries, research services as well as expense management and contract optimization for digital content.
