Millennia Atlantic University Chooses LibLime Koha

North Bethesda, MD, February 6, 2013- LibLime, a division of PTFS, announces that Millennia Atlantic University (MAU), located in Doral, Florida, has gone live on LibLime Koha 4.14.

The University Library will take advantage of the Solr search engine in 4.14, full faceted support in the OPAC, an embedded New Titles list, and additional functionality for expired and cancelled holds. As with all versions of LibLime Koha since 4.8, the entire application resides in the Plack environment for enhanced performance.

Michael Panzer named Editor-in-Chief of the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system

Michael Panzer, formerly Assistant Editor, has been named the 10th Editor-in-Chief of the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system.

Mr. Panzer, who becomes the first DDC Editor-in-Chief from outside the United States, replaces Joan S. Mitchell, who has retired after serving with distinction in the position since 1993.
