Evergreen Indiana Welcomes 6 More Library Systems Live on Evergreen

Evergreen Indiana continues to grow with 6 new library systems live on Evergreen, the consortial, open-source library automation software. In total, 48 Indiana library systems are now part of Evergreen Indiana, a shared-catalog project of the Indiana State Library. The newest additions are Culver-Union Township, LaGrange, Monticello-Union Township, Paoli, Princeton-Patoka, and Westfield Washington Public Libraries.

Integrated Technology Group (ITG), recently named Dialoc ID’s preferred North American partner, completed its first installations of Dialoc’s Ellipse electro-magnetic (EM) security systems at two Florida libraries in October. Both facilities, the St. Petersburg Public Library main branch and the Florida Community College library in downtown Jacksonville, utilize 3M EM tags for their collection but selected Dialoc ID gates from ITG after comparing price and capabilities.

Dallas, TX – Amigos Library Services held its first-ever online conference, “Going Green @ Your Library: Lean, Green, Clean Ideas,” Wednesday, October 7. The conference featured speakers from both academic and public libraries, who offered ideas on how to promote a clean environment while still providing superior customer service.
