Lincoln College of Technology Chooses ByWater Solutions' Koha Support

ByWater Solutions, an open source community contributor and America’s forefront provider of Koha support, announced today that Lincoln College of Technology of Cincinnati, Ohio is now live on their installation of the Koha integrated library system.

Twenty-seven libraries throughout Australia and New Zealand are part of the more than 2,500 libraries, archives, museums and other cultural heritage institutions around the world using OCLC’s CONTENTdm Digital Collection Management Software to manage their digital collections and make them available on the Web. Of the 27 libraries, 25 are part of the CONTENTdm software “quick start” program, which makes each Te Puna member, Amlib, VDX or OCLC WorldShare Management Services user eligible for its own CONTENTdm license hosted in the OCLC Sydney Data Center at no additional cost.

North Bethesda, MD, May 9, 2013- The Haxtun Public Library, located in Haxtun, Colorado, has joined the Colorado Library Consortium (CLiC) and is scheduled to go live on the AspenCat LibLime Koha union catalog.

EBSCO has introduced Civil War Primary Source Documents from the New-York Historical Society. The American Civil War collection is comprised of original manuscripts of letters, diaries, administrative records, photographs, illustrations and artifacts from both the North and the South.

WorldCat, the most comprehensive online database of resources available through libraries around the world, has reached another major milestone with the addition of its 2 billionth holding.

Articles from BioOne Online Journals will be searchable through EBSCO Discovery Service, giving EDS users access to BioOne's high-impact bioscience research journals. The release is below and can also be found here: http://www.prweb.com/releases/BioOne/EDS/prweb10707353.htm.

training and will continue to provide system administration and technical support for the growing consortium.

Social Work Reference Center is a new evidence-based point-of-care resource available from EBSCO. It is geared for a wide-range of health professionals and is designed to provide the most current evidence for patient care.

North Bethesda, MD, May 1, 2013- The La Veta Public Library, located in La Veta, Colorado and a member of the Colorado Library Consortium (CLiC), is now live in the AspenCat LibLime Koha Union Catalog for all collection and patron management services.

The La Veta Public Library staff worked with LibLime Project Managers to migrate bibliographic, item, and patron data from their legacy ILS system. With the addition of the La Veta Public Library to CLiC, there are now over 627,000 items and over 368,000 bibliographic records in the CLiC LibLime Koha Union Catalog.
