~ Classical Studies Tool Includes Scholarly Works Related to Ancient Greek and Roman Civilization ~

IPSWICH, Mass. — January 22, 2013 — L’Année philologique, a specialized bibliographic database of scholarly works relating to all aspects of ancient Greek and Roman civilization, is now available via EBSCOhost® from EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO). L’Année philologique database includes all volumes of the annual index, beginning with Volume I published in 1928.

OCLC has signed new agreements with leading publishers around the world to add more e-book metadata to WorldCat, the most comprehensive online database of resources available through libraries worldwide.

This new WorldCat metadata will be integrated into library management workflows using OCLC’s cataloging services and discoverable by users through a variety of library discovery services, including WorldCat Local and WorldCat.org.

Amigos Library Services will present a one-day online conference “HTML5 and CSS3: Ready for Prime Time?” on Friday, February 8. The conference will cover a variety of topics, such as making your website more accessible, transitioning to the future-friendly web, and using HTLM5 and CSS3 with Modernizr.

Equinox Support Team Earns High Marks for 2012 Customer Service

Duluth, GA —January 15, 2013

The Equinox Support Team has earned high marks for customer service in 2012. Clients were asked to respond to a short survey allowing them to rate their experience with support staff once their ticket was closed. Over 3,000 tickets were resolved during 2012 with 98% percent of responding customers rating their service as “Good” to “Excellent”, with over 90% of those responses rated in the top “Excellent” category.

Worch Memorial Public Library has gone live on Evergreen as part of the Consortium of Ohio Libraries (COOL). They are the sixth of nine founding members of the new state wide program bringing 37,000 bibliographic items and almost 9,000 new patrons to the consortium.
