LibLime to Exhibit at Computers in Libraries

North Bethesda, MD, April 2, 2014- LibLime, a division of PTFS, will be exhibiting at the upcoming Computers in Libraries scheduled for April 7-9 in Washington, D.C.

LibLime will be presenting the new cataloging editor which will be released as part of Academic Koha.5.8 this summer. The editor includes many improvements over its predecessor, including:

• site-controlled custom templates for cataloging all types of material
• flexible, programmable MARC validity checking
• side-by-side record view and edit
• support for MARC Bibliographic, Authority, and Holdings records

Penrose Community Library Goes Live on LibLime Koha 4.16 in the CLiC AspenCat Union Catalog

North Bethesda, MD, March 19, 2014- Penrose Community Library, located in Penrose, CO, is now live in the AspenCat LibLime Koha Union Catalog for all collection and patron management services.

The Penrose Community Library staff worked with LibLime Project Managment to migrate bibliographic, item, and patron data from their legacy ILS system to the LibLime Koha application. With the addition of the Penrose Community Library, there are now over 780,000 items and nearly 485,000 bibliographic records in the CLiC AspenCat Union Catalog.

LibLime Koha 4.18 represents the innovation, ideas, and talents of many professional librarians with whom LibLime enjoys working and with whom we look forward to a continued professional partnership in years to come. Key contributors to LibLime Koha 4.18 include Colorado Library Consortium, Pioneer Library Consortium, Salina Public Library, and South Central Library System.

The arrival of LibLime Koha 4.18 includes substantial changes to the application, such as:
• Full RDA compliance;

LibLime to Exhibit at Public Library Association Conference

North Bethesda, MD, March 5, 2014- LibLime, a division of PTFS, will be exhibiting at the upcoming Public Library Association Conference (PLA) scheduled for March 11-15 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

LibLime, as a division of PTFS, will be presenting LibLime Koha 4.18, which is scheduled for production release later this month. The arrival of LibLime Koha 4.18 includes substantial modifications to the application, such as:

• Architectural changes to the fines and fees sub-module
• Enhanced authority control support, including authority merge
• Expanded functionality for SIP2

West Custer County Library District Goes Live on LibLime Koha 4.14 in the CLiC AspenCat Union Catalog

North Bethesda, MD, February 26, 2014- West Custer County Library District, located in Westcliffe, CO, is now live in the AspenCat LibLime Koha Union Catalog for all collection and patron management services.

The West Custer County Library District staff worked with LibLime Project Managment to migrate bibliographic, item, and patron data from their legacy ILS system to the LibLime Koha application. With the addition of the West Custer County Library District, there are now over 762,000 items and nearly 468,000 bibliographic records in the CLiC AspenCat Union Catalog.

Amy Begg De Groff Takes Over as LibLime Division Manager

North Bethesda, MD, February 14, 2014- LibLime, a division of PTFS, announces that Amy Begg De Groff will be taking on responsibilities as the LibLime Division Manager.

Ms. De Groff came to PTFS in 2010 as the Transition Management consultant charged with overseeing the LibLime acquisition. She came to PTFS from Howard County Library (HCL) where she was Director of Information Technology. As LibLime Division Manager, Ms. De Groff will oversee LibLime products & services, work with LibLime clients on ongoing feature development, and provide day to day management of the Division.

LibLime and PTFS Will Be Exhibiting at the 2014 Esri Federal GIS Conference

North Bethesda, MD, February 7, 2014- LibLime and PTFS, will be exhibiting this year at the 2014 Esri Federal GIS Conference. The Symposium will be in Washington D.C. from February 10 through February 11. We will be demonstrating the latest version of ArchivalWare Digital Library System (DLS) for research and academic libraries as well as offering a sneak preview of the upcoming release of ArchivalWare Geospatial (GS), designed for research and development organizations.

North Bethesda, MD, January 31, 2014- LibLime announces the production release of LibLime Academic Koha 5.6. As with each release of Academic Koha, all features were designed and sponsored by WALDO’s Academic Koha design committees – by librarians for librarians.

Portage County Public Library Joins the South Central Library System LibLime Koha Union Catalog

North Bethesda, MD, January 15, 2014- The Portage County Public Library (Portage), comprised of 4 branches in Portage Country, Wisconsin, will soon participate in the South Central Library System (SCLS) LibLime Koha union catalog for all collection and patron management services.

North Bethesda, MD, January 8, 2014- LibLime, a division of PTFS, will raffle off a Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight Reader and debut the upcoming release of LibLime Koha 4.18 at the 2014 ALA Midwinter Meeting from January 24-27 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Conference attendees are encouraged to visit LibLime at Booth 866 and drop off a business card to enter to win the Nook Simple Touch Reader. The drawing will be held following the conclusion of the show.
