The LibraryAware Community Award recognizes cities and towns and their libraries, or library systems, that have demonstrated their ability to make the community aware of what the library can do for them—and have delivered on that promise. The award is given by Library Journal and underwritten by LibraryAware™, a product of the NoveList division of EBSCO Publishing.

New England School of Acupuncture Goes Live on Koha with ByWater Solutions

North Bethesda, MD –December 19, 2012 – LibLime, a division of PTFS, announces that Western Nebraska Community College (WNCC), a member of the Pioneer Library Consortium, has successfully migrated to and gone live on LibLime Koha 4.14.

After joining the Pioneer Consortium and LibLime Koha in May 2012, Western Nebraska Community College staff worked with LibLime project management staff on data migration from its legacy Follett Destiny ILS, system configuration, and training.

IPSWICH, Mass. — December 18, 2012 — Online academic video collections from INTELECOM Intelligent Telecommunications (INTELECOM) will be available from EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO). The agreement will give users access to INTELECOM’s library of core curriculum video collections through EBSCOhost®, while other videos will be included in subject-specific EBSCOhost databases.
