North Bethesda, MD, March 7, 2013- The Berthoud Community Library District, located in Berthoud, Colorado, has joined the Colorado Library Consortium (CLiC) and is now live on the AspenCat LibLime Koha union catalog.

EBSCO Discovery Service Users will be able to search University Press Scholarship Online and Oxford Dictionary of National Biography because EBSCO and Oxford University Press extended their partnership. More information is found in the release below. Please let me know if you have any questions.

North Bethesda, MD, February 28, 2013- LibLime, a division of PTFS, announces that the Nigeria Natural Medicine Development Agency (NNMDA) in Lagos, Nigeria has chosen LibLime to provide them with support and hosting services for LibLime Koha 4.14. The NNMDA looks forward to taking advantage of the rich functionality in LibLime Koha 4.14, including enhanced circulation policies, the Solr search engine, full faceted support in the OPAC, an embedded New Titles list, and additional functionality for expired and cancelled holds.

Farmington Hills, MI and Washington, D.C., Feb. 28, 2013 — Gale, part of Cengage Learning and a leading publisher of research and reference resources for libraries, schools and businesses, and the Smithsonian Institution today announced a licensing agreement to distribute Smithsonian assets into the library and academic space.

North Bethesda, MD, February 20, 2013- LibLime, a division of PTFS, announces Fort Scott Public Library has joined the SEKnFind union catalog and is live on the system.

Fort Scott Public Library is a member of the Southeast Kansas Library System (SEKLS). SEKLS serves member libraries in over 60 communities in Southeast Kansas and several of those members participate in the SEKnFind union catalog.

Wayne County Public Library System has gone live on Evergreen as part of the NC Cardinal consortium. Equinox Software oversaw both data migration and staff training. ESI will also continue to provide on-going system administration and technical support for the entire consortium.

OCLC Research and the Association for Library and Information Science Education (ALISE) have awarded research grants to Lynne Bowker of the University of Ottawa, Kyung-Sun Kim of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and Sei-Ching Joanna Sin of Nanyang Technological University and Sanghee Oh of Florida State University. The awards were presented January 24 at the ALISE 2013 Annual Conference Awards Reception in Seattle, Washington.
