Haywood Public Library has gone live on Evergreen as part of the NC Cardinal consortium. Equinox Software over saw both data migration and staff training. ESI will also continue to provide on-going system administration and technical support for the entire consortium.

Since its establishment in 1928, the library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has grown into a world-renowned institution dedicated to documenting the history and development of motion pictures as an art form and an industry. The library is open to the public and is an important resource for scholars, students, researchers and industry professionals. Today, researchers, students and film aficionados worldwide can begin to explore these rich, unique collections online through the Margaret Herrick Library Digital Collections.

Bearspaw School, Muriel Clayton Middle School, Elbow Valley Elementary School, Rainbow Creek Elementary School, and Springbank Middle School are the newest schools to go-live on LibLime Koha.

Birmingham, Ala. — Wednesday, October 31, 2012 The — American Library Association (ALA) and EBSCO are partnering to offer seven scholarships for librarians to attend the 2013 ALA Annual Conference in Chicago. The meeting — which will take place June 27 – July 2, 2013 — offers an opportunity for continuing education, meetings, and interaction with colleagues.

Each EBSCO scholarship will be in the amount of $1,000. The scholarship money is to be used for conference registration, travel, and expenses.
