Centenary College Goes Live on Koha with ByWater Solutions

ByWater Solutions, an open source community supporter and official Koha support company, announced today that Centenary College of Hackettstown, NJ. is now live on their installation of the Koha integrated library system.

The Taylor Memorial Library's Koha installation went live in late May, and ByWater Solutions will be providing ongoing support and hosting services for them.

Sage Library System of Oregon Adds Nine New Libraries to Evergreen

Sage Library System of Eastern Oregon has added nine new libraries to Evergreen. The former Gorge Link libraries: Hood River County Library District (3), Hood River Valley High School, Sherman County Public/School Library, Planetree Health Center, and The Dalles/Wasco County Service District (3) are now live on Evergreen. Equinox Software oversaw data migration for the new libraries and will continue to provide technical support for all the Sage Libraries.

LibLime teams with vendors for first ever ALA Open Source ILS Gathering

Bethesda, MD – June 7, 2011 – LibLime is excited to be teaming with several of the other open source ILS vendors to sponsor a reception at ALA 2011. This first ever “Open Source ILS Gathering” will take place on Saturday, the 25th in New Orleans.

LibLime Koha at the University of Wisconsin

Bethesda, MD – May 28, 2011 – Students at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater will begin utilizing LibLime Koha this summer in their Organization of Information course through LibLime's Koha with Class program.

LibLime will provide the three section class, of approximately 60 students, with a hosted installation of LibLime Koha, free of charge. This will allow the students unlimited access and all privileges associated with the staff end of LibLime Koha as well as all OPAC functionality for the duration of the course.

The San Benito County Free Library Goes Live on Koha with ByWater Solutions

ByWater Solutions, an open source community supporter and official Koha support company, announced today that the San Benito County Free Library of Hollister, CA. is now live on their official Koha integrated library system.

The San Benito County Free Library and the Open Source-Open Libraries Consortium have partnered with ByWater Solutions for their Koha implementation.

Skagit Evergreen Libraries Consortium Goes Live

Burlington Public Library, La Conner Public Library, and the Upper Skagit Library District have gone live on Evergreen as a newly formed consortium, Skagit Evergreen Libraries. Equinox Software performed installation, data migration, and staff training, and will continue to provide technical support.
Located in Skagit County, Washington, the Skagit Evergreen Libraries provide service to about 15,000 patrons. Their new combined catalog consists of almost 80,000 bibliographic items.

SC LENDS, the South Carolina library resource sharing network powered by the open source integrated library system Evergreen, continues its rapid growth with the addition of four library systems. The Allendale-Hampton-Jasper Regional Library System, Colleton County Memorial Library, Kershaw County Library, and Williamsburg County Library are now live as part of the consortium.

Four More Texas Libraries Move to Koha

Bethesda, MD – February 25, 2011 – This week, LibLime brought 4 new Texas libraries live on Koha. These libraries are all members of the Big Country Library System (BCLS).

BCLS now has 25 member libraries all using Koha to support their daily workflows. Their Koha membership continues to grow as the Consortium is working with many more Texas libraries to migrate them from their costly, proprietary systems onto the BCLS Koha Union Catalog platform. Three Alberta Colleges Now Live with Koha as new consortium “Southern Alberta Libraries of Theology”

Alberta Bible College, Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary and College, and Rocky Mountain College have gone live with Koha as their next generation ILS, creating a new consortium that will be called Southern Alberta Libraries of Theology, or “SALT”. Equinox Software oversaw the installation and migration of data from their previous systems and is providing hosting and technical support for the new consortium.
