MOBIUS Libraries Increase Number of E-books Available for Patrons with EBSCO eBook™ Subscriptions

MOBIUS, a library consortium in Missouri, has purchased a number of EBSCO eBook™ subscription packages, giving patrons at 59 member libraries access to more than 138,000 eBook titles. This is the first such purchase by MOBIUS and it will give all levels of users access to e-book titles on a wide range of topics.

RILM Retrospective Abstracts of Music Literature™ Available from EBSCO

A comprehensive music bibliography covering music literature as far back as the early 1800s is available from EBSCO and RILM. RILM Retrospective Abstracts of Music Literature covers music material published before 1967 and is an addition to EBSCO's complete music collection of databases such as RILM Abstracts of Music Literature and RIPM Retrospective to Index Periodicals.

UPDATED- NoveList and 3M Expand Readers’ Advisory to Include the Check-Out Experience

My apologies. I made a large typo when I submitted this a few minutes ago.

When readers use a 3M SelfCheck Station, they will be shown other titles that may be of interest that their library has. They can place holds on those items, receive email recommendations or print the recommendations on their receipt. The partnership not only serves the reader, but it promotes the library services as well.
