ByWater Solutions Announces Koha Integration with Recorded Books

ByWater Solutions, an open source community contributor and America’s forefront provider of Koha support, announced today that the Koha OPAC Search and Circulation Integration with RBdigital content will be available for libraries for Spring of 2019.

The new integration will allow users to check out, check-in, search for titles and place holds on their items directly through the Koha OPAC. This new enhancement will allow libraries to display RBdigital content, including audio books, e-books and magazines, without the need to upload MARC records into the catalog.

Once the user performs a search on the OPAC, if results are found in RBdigital, users can follow a link to another screen in the OPAC which displays current holdings and availability.

We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Recorded Books on this integration and are especially thankful for the financial contribution they made to get this development launched.
