Vendor space nears sellout for August bargain book show in Atlanta

ATLANTA, Ga. - The Great American Bargain Book Show, scheduled for the Cobb Galleria Center in Atlanta on Friday-Saturday, August 1-2, has already sold 350 tables, according to Cathie Eargle, show co-coordinator.
The Great American Bargain Book Show debuted at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta in 2008. It is now among the three largest remainder and bargain book shows in the nation.
“We are delighted with the response so far,” said show organizer Larry May of Knoxville, Tenn.. “The show has only been ‘open for selection’ for a few weeks. I think we’ll top out at about 450 tables – I think that is great for a second year show.”
The host hotel for the show, which was held in 2007 at the Georgia World Congress Center, is the Renaissance.
"The show layout is up on our Web site, and we have only about 125 tables left on our layout," said May. "Vendors interested in displaying product, should call 865-922-7490 promptly."
