Adams Public Library System Goes Live With Evergreen

Adams Public Library System in Indiana has gone live with Evergreen, the consortial-quality open-source library automation software. Adams Public Library is the second library in Indiana to migrate to Evergreen, following Hussey-Mayfield Public Library, which went live in August. Fifteen other Indiana public libraries are on track to migrate to Evergreen by the end of 2008 as part of Indiana Evergreen, a shared-catalog project administered by the Indiana State Library.
The Grand Rapids Public Library has gone live with Evergreen, the consortial-quality open-source library automation software. GRPL follows Branch District Library in Branch County as the second of seven public libraries in the Michigan Evergreen project that will migrate to Evergreen by the end of the year. Michigan Evergreen is a shared-catalog project administered by the Michigan Library Consortium (MLC). Equinox Software, Inc., the support and development company for Evergreen, provided bumper-to-bumper support during the data migration process.
The National Weather Center Library has selected Evergreen, the consortial-quality open-source library automation software, as their next-generation integrated library system (ILS). In preparation, they have signed a contract with Equinox Software, Inc. for complete data migration. After the Evergreen catalog has gone live, Equinox will continue to serve the library with technical support as well as full-service data hosting.
Hussey-Mayfield Public Library in Zionsville, Indiana has gone live with Evergreen, the consortial-quality open-source library automation software. This is the first step in a process that will see seventeen Indiana public libraries migrate to Evergreen by the end of 2008 as part of Indiana Evergreen, a shared-catalog project administered by the Indiana State Library. Burns Lake Public Library of the British Columbia SITKA Consortium has become the 8th library in the British Sitka consortium to go live with Evergreen, the consortial-quality open-source library automation software.
