South Central Library System, with headquarters in Madison WI, provides service to 52 libraries located in 7 counties with a service population of 800,000. LINK is the consortium of the 41 SCLS members that share an integrated library system. With annual circulation of over 11.6 million, nearly 3 million holds filled annually, 826,000 bibliographic records, and over 3 million item records, LINK will be one of the largest installations of Koha to date.

ITG Implements 21-Bin Sorting System to Work in Conjunction with Library’s Custom Designed Integrated Library System

Norcross, Ga. – The Metropolitan Library System of Oklahoma County is installing a 21-bin automated materials handing (AMH) sorting system from the Integrated Technology Group (ITG), a division of Vernon Library Supplies, Inc. The automated materials handing system will work in conjunction with the library’s custom designed radio frequency identification (RFID) integrated library system (ILS), developed by the deputy executive director/technology, Jim Welch.
