National Weather Center Library Goes Live With Evergreen

The National Weather Center Library, located on the Norman campus of the University of Oklahoma, has gone live with Evergreen open-source library automation software. Equinox Software, Inc., the support and development company for Evergreen, provided bumper-to-bumper support for the migration and is now providing 24/7 data hosting and support.

(Calgary, Canada) Hades Publications announced today that the K. A. Bedford’s newest science fiction novel Time Machines Repaired While-U-Wait has just been nominated for Australia’s prestigious Aurealis Award.

K. A. Bedford celebrated his newest science fiction novel earlier this fall with a bang and a tour. He made appearances at the World Science Fiction Convention in Denver Colorado and was the Guest of Honor at ConVersion in Calgary Alberta. Time Machines Repaired While-U-Wait is unlike his other three releases: Orbital Burn, Eclipse, and Hydrogen Steel.

Evergreen Indiana Adds More Libraries, Goes Double Digits

The Evergreen Indiana shared catalog has grown to fourteen libraries, now that Jennings County, Brownstown, Melton, Butler, and Odon Winklepleck Public Libraries have migrated to Evergreen, the consortial-quality open-source library automation software. These five libraries join nine public library systems already part of this consortial catalog administered by the Indiana State Library.
